Moldestad is known for its joy of storytelling and communication with the public. Musically, it ranges from the wild to the beautiful. The musicians in the band characterize the music with their backgrounds in different genres; folk, blues, rock and church music. Together they create a musical surplus that touches.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Folk music is the root Sigrid Moldestad builds her musical landscape in. She writes texts in Nynorsk, or toneset poets such as Jan-Magnus Bruheim, Robert Burns and Jakob Sande. Between the lyrical narratives, the savagery of fiddle music emerges. Sigrid Moldestad is currently recording a new album coming spring 2026.
