December 14 VAMP

This year it is 25 years since Vamp released his very first album, “Good Morning Sister”. Vamp's well-known song Tirn'a Noir is from this album. They started working with the lyricist, Kolbein Falkeid in 1991 and already the following year they got a record contract. Tirn'a Noir was released as a single and started the adventure in earnest. Vamp snapped his first Spellemann in front of the foxes Bjørn Eidsvåg and Jan Eggum with their first album.

Today, Vamp belongs to the elite of Norwegian music life. You have developed a special expression in the meeting between music and poetry that has trumped the Norwegian soul. As the weather on the west coast, you are full of contrasts; From the violent and dramatic to the warm and heartfelt. You have sold plates in buckets and buckets and harvested a lot of honor and glory, including 5 Spellemannpriser and Prøysenprisen. At the latest last autumn, they received the Medaas Prize 2017. The autumn of 2017 also saw the release of their latest album “La la la”, which received critical acclaim.

The catalogue is full of well-known and beloved songs that you can pour off at their concerts. It's just a pleasure.
