With brand new songs and a series of immortal hits, Morten Abel puts out on the road again in 2018.
As always, you can expect all-singing and partying when Abel brings the band and his fantastic song universe along the way. With him in his luggage, he also has brand new songs from the new album, ”Evig din”, which came out earlier this year. What better way to celebrate Rockheim's Hall of Fame than to tour?
Few artists in this country have as successful and diverse a career as Morten Abel, and with hits like "Be My Lover", “Lydia”, “Tulipz”, “Hard To Stay Awake”, “Doberman” and “Miss Vilikke” he hardly needs a closer introduction. The road from Bodø to Stavanger, from Mods and The September When to Peltz and two decades as defining solo artist is long and varied. But the common denominator for Abel's musical escapades is the insane song rush, which has done so to say everything he has touched to both critically acclaimed releases and commercial success.
Abel has been in the spotlight for almost a lifetime, and is and remains one of the few real pop stars we have in this country. Both the sales figures, the prizes and the concerts on his merit list defend this status, and the man is a long-lived legend in the Norwegian music industry.
