An important part of the West Norwegian people's soul, whether we like them or not. Slowly but surely they are being replaced by bridges and tunnels. In his new book Halvor Folgerø has met ferry people, and collected stories about life on and with the ferries. About everyday life, comedy, romance and drama. About storm and silence, party and birth, love and queue.
