BÅRD OSE - The Beatles and the women

March 14: 17.3019.30
Welcome to a lecture a little out of the ordinary. Here you will hear stories about how the women, especially the mothers, inspired the four boys from Liverpool to create many of their most famous songs. Laughter will hang loose and tears will be shed when Bård Ose tells about the background of songs like "I Saw Her Standing There", "Don't Let Me Down" and "Let It Be" and plays samples from these. You'll get a whole new view of the songs, not to mention "Yesterday".
Bård Ose (born 1960) is known for his many years in NRK, where he every week delivered several programs in P1+ and served "PILS" every Saturday for 22 years, together with Finn Tokvam. He has written 15 books, including major works on The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. He is currently working on the book "Listlangs" which tells the stories behind more than 2000 hits from the 60s.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The event starts at 6:00 p.m.
