This Was My Life is considered one of the foremost tribute bands in the Nordic countries to Kim Larsen & Gasolin. The band was started in Bergen in 2018 and has in a short time become a sought after name by organizers and audiences. Here you get a musical journey through the life and career of Kim Larsen, with classics such as "Paper Sklip", "Midt om natten", "This Is My Life" and "What do we do now, little you".
With Danish Claus Pedersen at the front - and experienced musicians from the music scene in Bergen behind him - the songs are delivered with respect for the originals, but also with warmth, closeness and solid interaction.
The close friend of Kim Larsen, Karsten Skovgaard, has himself recognized the tribute from the band, and has on several occasions shared the stage with them as a guest artist. Skovgaard was for many years Kapellmeister and lead guitarist in Kim Larsen & Kjukken.
This will be an evening for everyone who loves Kim Larsen's timeless songs - the sing-along factor tends to be high.
