Emmerhoff & The Melancholy Babies return to the Arena!

The sources are uncertain, but some claim it's been over 20 years since the last time.

In 2026, the band marks its 30th anniversary, and as the start of a year of festivities, it will be

Concert at the Arena on Saturday 24th January.

This concert will also be the release party for the band's seventh LP, "The Dying Of The Light".

It was released on October 17, 2025.

Emmerhoff & The Melancholy Babies started in Bergen in 1996, but has strong roots in Sunnhordland.

The band was first put together by Halsnøybu and ex-Jim Was A Junkie vocalist Gunnar Emmerhoff

The song is from his solo album "The Joy of Mourning". Arild Vikane and Per Harald Ottesen

joined from JWAJ, and the tape was complemented by two errant Romsdalinger; Inge Rypdal and Iver

Sandøy (Enslaved).
