Western Norway can be summed up in three F's: mountains, fjords and ferries. No mode of transport is more loved and hated than the ferries. An important part of the West Norwegian people's soul, whether we like them or not. Slowly but surely they are being replaced by bridges and tunnels. In his new book Halvor Folgerø has met ferry people, and collected stories about life on and with the ferries. About everyday life, comedy, romance and drama. About storm and silence, party and birth, love and queue.
At the Arena you will hear the best stories, and see the finest pictures.
