ORKAN was launched in 2008 by TAAKE live guitarist Gjermund Fredheim and former BYFROST drummer, and later TAAKE drummer Rune Nesse. After being joined by bassist Sindre Hillesdal and frontman Einar Fjelldal (from GRAVEMACHINE), ORKAN released their first album, "Crimson Canvas", in 2012, and the critically acclaimed second album "Livlaus" in 2015. and "Element!" in 2018.

Skuld is a newly formed band from Bergen that moves in the landscape between black metal and shoegaze. The band consists of experienced musicians with connections to, among others, Taake, Nifrost, Blodhemn, Drittmaskin and Confabulation, and has in a short time made its mark in the Norwegian underground. The first single Æreskrans received a brilliant reception, including 5 out of 6 in Bergens Tidende, which wrote:
