Pub Choirs are finally coming to Stord! Thursday March 27th we want to gather friends, neighbors, colleagues and song lovers in Arena, for an evening of music, laughter and polyphonic sing-along.

What is PUBKOR? The concept is simple; We learn a song in one evening, and you don't have to have any knowledge of choral singing beforehand. No commitments, no auditions - just great song!

Doors open at noon. 18:00, exercise starts at. 7:00 p.m. and lasts for about two hours.

What song we will learn is secret until the rehearsal starts, but it will be a pop song that is familiar to most people, and the lyrics will be shown on the big screen. The bar is open all night!

Everyone is welcome, regardless of background, age (18+), level or talent. The evening will be arranged by Songlaget Stordabuen, and the exercise will be led by Torleiv Agdestein, who has been our permanent conductor since 2011. You'd be surprised how well he makes it all sound at the end of the night! Welcome to a fun and social evening!
