Torbjørn Økland w/band and guest Jan Toft

Torbjørn Økland Band emerged after Torbjørn Økland in the autumn of 2023 released the solo album "Alt det me va". Økland was the guitarist for Vamp for 23 years, but left in 2014 to become a freelance musician. The album revealed that Økland is also a very good songwriter and vocalist.

It quickly became a demand that Torbjørn Økland had to go out to the people. The festival in Haugesund booked the debut concert already the day after the album release, and since then it has been hectic for Torbjørn Økland and the band.

Almost all concerts so far have been sold out, and the audience is delighted.

The band consists of great musicians such as Halvor Lillesund, Rudolf Fredly, Vegard Fossum, Nils Økland and Torbjørn Økland, and in addition Økland's good friend Jan Toft is a guest artist.

Torbjørn Økland appears as a very skilled orchestra leader, and shows at the concerts why he is mentioned by many as one of Norway's foremost guitarists.
