In this amazing family performance you get a musical meeting with the characters Heavykatten, Discodansemusa and Hedgehog Philip, known from several books by Roald Kaldestad.
We are in the rehearsal room of a band that wants to play tough heavy music.
The band makes songs themselves, and the bassist and one guitarist are in the process of rehearsal when the audience arrives. But it's not easy to play tough music when they don't have someone who can play on that great drum kit. It doesn't get easier because the other guitarist has completely different things than the band and practice in his head when he finally shows up.
The performance premiered in Hamar in 2007, and has since been performed in schools across the country with great success. It has also been played at a number of festivals, including the Literature Festival in Lillehammer, Bergenfest , BLEST, the Literary Symposium in Odda , Tysnesfest , the Festival of Elverum , The Nynorsk Festival , Bygdalarm and at Barnas Hus in Bergen and Litteraturhuset in Oslo.
